The physical act of painting and drawing brings me solace. To me the process, at its best, is almost meditative. My work is often described as, calm, quiet, gentle and I always hope the viewer is able to feel some of the peace I feel when painting.

These works are representative of my core practice in that I mainly work with oil paint or graphite, however, the subject matter and to some extent the style are a new development.
